Members only asana practices: Medium and Vigorous Vinyasa

If you have some yoga experience, or you have been practicing our traditional Y4C style asana practices for a while, and are ready to start to increase the strength of your practice, this is your page! While yoga definitely does NOT have to be vigorous for you to gain significant benefits, it can feel very empowering to see yourself continue to build strength and flexibility, and some benefits like weight management, muscle toning, and cardiovascular benefits definitely increase with increasing vigor. Here we will work through some intermediate, or medium strength practices, to continue to build the strength and prepare you for the vigorous vinyasa practices. Remember to be patient with yourself and don’t push too much. Depending on your treatment, surgery, and radiation, it may take some time for your body to be ready to progress, and that is perfectly normal. Also remember to review the list of tutorial videos, where I give more in-depth demonstration and instruction for some of the more advanced postures. If you have lymphedema, just go very slow in adding these postures with weight into the arms, allowing your arm plenty of time to adjust to the movements before spending more and more time in them.
